New Energy - How we can change the world together

It is my firm belief that we can change the world in a very big way, together.  I'm talking about the single biggest step forward our civilization could make right now.  How?  By implementing the new energy technologies that tap into the ambient energy saturating every part of the fabric of our universe.  Commonly referred to as "free energy", these devices and technologies take many forms.  Some utilize water, some electromagnetic energy, others sound waves, some a combination of these, plus more.

I am not talking about solar, wind, or geothermal energies.  I have nothing against these - and maybe they'll make good supplements to our new energy future - but I don't believe we should focus on them when these other technologies can provide much cleaner and cheaper energy, while also getting humanity unplugged from a grid (and from the need to pay utility bills!)

Which brings me to why you might not know about these technologies.  There are powerful interests who don't want you to know about them.  The most profitable and powerful industry on the planet, in fact!  The energy industry - and their owners, the big banks!  The possibility of so-called free energy goes back at least a century to the time of the great Nikola Tesla.  Since then (or before), the powerful interests which operate the unacknowledged shadow government that has been running this planet have suppressed the knowledge and technology using every means at their disposal.  The inventors' labs, notes and computers have been confiscated by federal governments under the guise of "national security".  Inventors and people who spread the word about their inventions have been beaten - and even killed.

The times, they are a-changin'!
There are just too many inventions to suppress.  Too many inventors to intimidate, beat or kill.  Too many people have awakened to the knowledge of the existence of these technologies.  Too many videos, articles and tutorials have been posted to the internet.

New Energy Movement President Joel Garbon told me in an interview recently that the suppression seems to be backing off, and he has firm hope these technologies will filter into the hands of humanity in the near future.

What do we stand to gain?
Imagine purchasing a single device, one time, that powers your entire home.  Small; portable enough to move with you to a new location.  This device exploits the literally limitless background energy of time and space. It has no moving parts to wear out.  You never again have to pay a utility company to power, cool or heat your home!  How much money did you just save each month?  Now add that up for a year.  Two years.  Ten years.

Imagine a mode of transportation that requires no fuel.  Imagine never having to drop $50-100 at a gas pump ever again.  Never having to contribute to the pollution on this planet just so you can get from Point A to B.  How much money did you just save?

It gets better!  Imagine these transport vehicles, large or small, don't even need tires.  They use magnetics to generate an independent gravity field in the shape of a bubble around the vehicle.  No need for tires.  No need for roads.  How much money would every government save if they didn't need to build and maintain a network of roads?  Imagine all the green space that could be freed up for other purposes!  Let your imagination run wild with the possibilities.

Another huge benefit to moving folks around in their own gravity field: No more car accidents!  Because the gravity field for each vehicle exists independent of their surroundings, even if they collided the passengers wouldn't feel a thing.  No seat belts.  No injuries.  No deaths.  How much money did we just save in health insurance premiums, car insurance premiums, and funerary costs?  Those are just the tangibles.  That's 40,000 families that won't need to grieve over a loved one lost in an accident in the United States alone!  And that's just the deaths; what about devastating injuries and paralysis that would be avoided?  What about the long term health care costs associated with those?

When we add up the benefits to individual families pocket books, to governmental budgets, to the individual and collective well-being of our communities - as well as the well-being of Mother Earth - this is a no-brainer, kids!

Plus, consider how far we could advance as a planetary civilization if we funnel just a minuscule portion of these savings into honest scientific research and development of these technologies?  Furthermore, I haven't even touched on the implications for providing even the poorest on this planet with cheap, abundant sources of energy - or for feeding the world.

So what can you do to help?  
Educate yourself!  Learn about the different technologies and their implications.  Spread the word!  Make sure everyone you believe might be open to this knowledge is given a chance to examine it.  Support the inventors!  You'll know who they are after educating yourself.  Give what you can to make a better world for all.  Put pressure on elected officials!  Call and write your representatives, all the way to the top.  Sure, right now you can expect bureaucratic run-around and responses - but the louder this wheel squeaks the sooner it gets oiled!

New Energy Report

Unable to keep myself from offering a contribution of my own, I created a daily online paper called the New Energy Report.  It automatically populates with information gathered from keywords and hashtags across the  internet and social media.  A work in progress, there are sometimes a few posts that have nothing to do with the topic - but I edit and cull sources on an almost daily basis.  With time, I hope to have editions with really good topical information.  As things stand, there are some real gems that find their way into the paper.  In fact, it's already been the source for many postings to the Extraordinary Year facebook page!  Please check it out and subscribe.

Contact Elected Officials (USA)

Okay, now that you're up to speed on New Energy and its implications for our future, it's time to get active!  Are you squeaky wheels ready to make some noise?  Good!  Just CLICK HERE to get started!  The USA.GOV site makes it easy to track down and contact your public officials at both the state and federal levels - and that's exactly what I want you to do!  Contact your governor, your state legislators, your congressional representatives and senators in Washington, D.C.  Don't stop there.  Write Barack Obama.  Call Joe Biden.  Email the Secretary of Energy.

Do I hold some naive idea that your contact will change their mind regarding where energy research dollars should go and which energy companies should receive subsidies?  No.  Our government is bought and paid for by the most powerful interests on the planet.  What I do expect is for the mounting voice and will of the people to begin to make an impact.  This works if we do it together.  If we do it often and in ernest.  At the very least, this sort of contact usually gets a response from each office, which requires someone on their staff to put some thought into the reasons why your requests are something they do or don't support "at this time".

Who knows, you might just be able to sway the staffers!

Join Others in Community Awareness Outreach

Since it's reasonable to expect that imploring elected officials to examine and support new energy technology won't work unless we hit them with sheer numbers, it behooves each of us to get involved in raising awareness in our local communities.  Lucky us, there's a movement that's making that easy!  It's called Thrive, and I highly recommend you check it out.  Aside from being a documentary that intricately and interestingly details not just new energy tech but where our planetary civilization stands and how it came to be this way, the Thrive Movement is an organization with a superb website chalk full of resources for connecting with like-minded people for direct action.  Please, watch the movie for free and consider joining or creating a local group to utilize the resources provided to make our world what we know it can be:  A world that works for everyone, where all can be happy, healthy, safe and free!

Obama on gay marriage: It's not what you think

Everyone is talking about it, so I figure I might as well weigh in.  Only, what I have to say on this topic is probably not what you would think.

As with many issues, all the viewpoints on President Obama's proclamation this week that he now supports legalizing gay marriage basically boil down to two sides.  On one side, we have the people who are vehemently against gay marriage.  They've found just one more reason to despise the Socialist Antichrist Muslim Kenyan.

On the other side, you have the folks who do support gay people's right to enjoy the same life experiences as any other human being.  They're not exactly happy, either, though.  They think Barry should've come out in support of gay marriage back in 2008 when he was asked the question point blank.  They view Johnny-Come-Lately's pronouncement as thinly-veiled political theater.

Now, if you were to place me in one camp or the other, I'd have to fall into the latter.  I'm a fan of personal liberty.  You know, like Republicans say they are but aren't really.  After all, it was Republicans in North Carolina who pushed through an amendment to their state's constitution to forever outlaw gay marriage, civil unions and domestic partnerships of any kind (gay or straight) that started this whole brouhaha to begin with.

Indeed, when both stories broke the other day my immediate reaction was to escalate my disdain for both social conservatives for their blatant hypocrisy, and our president for his obvious political gimmick.  And then everyone started talking.  And they're still talking.  And amidst all this talking I learned a factoid that instantly caused my opinion of this whole matter to become...let's say more nuanced.

Here's the fact:  The country is basically split right down the middle on this issue, 50/50.

Why did this information cause me to alter my view of the whole affair?  Let me ask you something...Given the current situation on this planet, what should the real hot button political issues be?  We've got a banking system that is directly responsible for an ongoing financial crisis that's decimated the lives of millions across the globe, yet no one has gone to jail.  We've got energy companies that are actively destroying the ecosystem of the planet while raking in millions of dollars in profit on the hour every hour that are receiving billions in government subsidies while alternative energy companies can't make ends meet.  Consumers are paying out the ass for fossil fuels of every kind while the government has suppressed thousands of patents - the product of good ol' American innovation - that would eliminate everyone's need for fuel of any kind, not to mention the need to pay a utility bill ever again.  We've got the largest income disparity in history.  We've got carte blanche support for a Nazi-like regime in Israel who have turned the Gaza strip into a concentration camp for years on end.  Likewise, our own country is guilty of killing countless innocent civilians - including children - through errant drone strikes as part of a global war on terror that isn't making anyone safer while it lines the pockets of "defense" corporations.

I could go on for pages with a list of real issues that really affect real people much more directly than gay marriage. You know, environmental destruction, corporate malfeasance, shocking inequality, subjugation and poverty.  So why is this the issue everyone is talking about?  Well, because it's what the media is talking about.

Imagine you were at the top of this pyramidal ponzi scheme called Planet Earth.  Imagine you needed to distract the population from looking too closely at how things really work here.  How would you do it?  Well, one of the best tried and true ways is to manufacture and issue.  History has taught you that social issues make for excellent distraction during times when people are really hurting or dying.  Just prod the old value voters with an edict to the media you control, and viola - problem solved.

And what sort of manufactured issue would get the greatest number of people talking and keep them bickering with each other as long as possible?  One where each "side" had virtually the same number of people.

As soon as I heard that the latest research poll showed America was split right down the middle on this, I knew why it had become the topic du jour.  It's a nationwide tug of war over something that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things!  No one will live or die whether gay marriage is outlawed or legalized.  And best of all, while the entire country is coerced into focusing on this relatively unimportant manufactured issue, the robber barons continue their dirty work to fleece the planet while simultaneously destroying it.

You're all being led around by the ear.  And you're letting them do it.  They're playing you like a kazoo; the easiest instrument in the world.

Stop it.  Seriously, stop it.  C'mon, you know you've already said everything you need to say about this.  It doesn't need to be rehashed or broken down any more than it already has.

Instead, next time someone brings it up, change the subject.  Explain that you think there are things that are more important, then give one example.  Then, talk about that instead.  For the love of God, stop being so easily manipulated and distracted!

Letting Go of Fear

I spent last weekend learning about David Wilcock and watching videos of lectures he's given. To say the information I found changed my perspective on reality would be an understatement. In effect, it eliminated most of the fear I had concerning what's happening on our planet, what's happening to us as a species, and what could occur on December 21, 2012. That's a LOT! A lot of fear to release. A lot of change in perspective.

This has had a remarkable effect on my blogging. Essentially, I've found almost nothing worth posting.  I have no warnings.  I'm not afraid of The NWO Powers That Were or their plans for world domination.  I'm not even afraid of global cataclysm.  And without fear, I haven't been driven to keep a watchful eye on the underground news, so I'm not really aware of what things have been happening that I would previously have been compelled to repost, expound upon, or otherwise warn my fellow man about. 

It.  Doesn't.  Matter.

Why not?  Because we're in the end game, my friends.  There's an overwhelming amount of evidence to the fact that not only WILL something go down on the winter solstice of 2012, but that it's way bigger than you or me or politics or any human intention.  ANY human intention.  It's way bigger than our solar system.  It's God-sized.  It's a provable galactic energy-based spiritual phenomenon that cannot be stopped.  It can only be enhanced through our choices and awareness at that coming moment. 

Now, maybe you're thinking, "Wow, Tim.  You've really gone off the deep end this time, brother.  You've said some loony shit in the past, but I can't believe you're buying into some Mayan prophesy from 6,000 years ago."

Well, I am - and I'm not.  It's not about Mayan prophecies, not really.  It's about the convergence of so many things that to ignore it would be equivalent to the proverbial ostrich sticking its head in the sand.  "I can't see it, so it's not there!"  Only it is. 

Convergence of what?  A convergence of spiritual teachings millenia and worlds apart.  A convergence of poorly kept mystical teachings by elite secret societies who would keep the masses in the dark for their own gain.  A convergence of channeled information from a multitude of sources in a multitude of languages.  A convergence of sudden, recent, real, measurable solar change.  A convergence of breakthrough scientific understanding about the nature of physical reality on a quantum, energetic level - as well as new understanding about the nature and relationship of time and space and how, where, and why subatomic particles go when they disappear from observable material reality.  A convergence of energy streaming at our planet and species from the center of our galaxy that cannot be stopped, deflected, or avoided - not that we should wish to. 

Now, much of this I already knew - at least in part.  I'm a seeker of truth and my whole adult life has been spent trying to figure out how everything fits together.  But David Wilcock has done a MUCH better job of dedicating himself to that very task and has done a MUCH better job of putting the puzzle pieces together.

All I needed were a couple of pieces to click...and my understanding of the nature of reality increased tenfold in a day.  I am so encouraged by this new understanding that my fear has just dissipated. 

I realize that this post probably seems very vague to readers.  I can't accomplish much in the way of specifics right now because I'm just so overwhelmed by the Big Picture. 

In closing, I will predict that my blogging is going to change dramatically going forward.  I will still find plenty to say, but it won't be fear-based.  I will still post arguments for changing our society for the good of the many, even at the expense of the few.  I will still shine a light on the lies men tell themselves and each other.  I will still work to expose the truth of what happened on 9/11 so people will realize how all major world events have been orchestrated by people other than the ones being blamed.

But most of all, I will work to elucidate information my sisters and brothers haven't received, whether it's because some would like to keep the news suppressed or simply because they haven't had it communicated effectively yet.

I. Want. This. Car.

Last week I was commuting to work in my 1999 Pontiac Firebird. It's a V6 and gets about the same gas mileage as our Honda Odyssey minivan which my wife has dubbed "The Firebus". While stopped at a long light I observed that almost all the other cars around me were similar in that they were gas-powered passenger cars with a single occupant, the driver.

How wasteful, I thought to myself, to have all these vehicles built to hold 5 to 7 people all packed together but holding only a single person. I found myself wishing for a vehicle for personal conveyance that was literally no bigger than I absolutely needed. I imagined myself inside an enclosed version of the Segway.

Fast forward to this morning.  Upon checking my daily Good News update from Ode Magazine, I learned about the Tango.

This car is pretty much exactly what I imagined.  Only wide enough to encapsulate a driver, although it has a passenger seat directly behind the driver - say for dropping a child at soccer practice.  It's electric, so zero gas consumption.  A single battery charge will take you 80 miles, more than long enough for me to get to work, run a couple errands over lunch, and return home at the end of the day.  It has more torque than a Viper.  It's top speed is 135mph and has beat a Shelby Mustang.  I'm never going to need to go that fast!  It does 0-60 in 12 seconds. 

But my imaginary SUV-driving devil's advocate immediately shoots me down, "It's so tiny, there's no way it's safe."

Au contraire, mon mama du futbol!  This thing is stacked with safety features.  In fact, it has four times the side impact protection of an SUV.  Four times.  Its center of gravity is only inches off the ground, making rollovers quite improbable!  And if you did happen to rollover in a Tango, it's built around a rollover safety cage that would make a NASCAR driver sleep easy. 

The cost?  Tango has two models that run under $20,000.  Their other model - the one George Clooney drives - is out of my personal price range (+$100,000).

The only question I'm left with is: What's the sound system like?

Incidentally, in my research for this blog post I discovered there is now an enclosed version of the Segway.  It's a collaboration between Segway and GM called the EN-V, and it looks very cool!  It only travels about 25mph and there's no way it's safety rated for the road, but with development it probably could be.  For now, I'm going to continue imagining myself in a Tango.  As long as our family has the trusty Firebus for traveling and getting the 6 of us around, I'd gladly trade my Firebird for a Tango T600.  Today.

Changing the Conversation About Energy Independence

I like to consider myself a pretty bullshit-savvy guy. But when the bullshit is sold to us by EVERY politician across the spectrum for 30+ years, it's hard to not buy it.

To what bullshit am I referring? The complete LIE that there is such a thing as energy independence when it comes to oil. Last night Rachel Maddow opened my eyes to a truth I want to shout from the roof tops.

"There is no such thing as a separate foreign oil supply and a domestic one. Oil drilled here gets trucked to the international market, where we buy it just like every other country."

What this means is "Drill, Baby, Drill" was already misguided - even if you thought getting our oil from American sources would make us more independent as a country.  The bitch of it is, it WOULDN'T and WON'T!  And Barack Obama, John McCain, and every other major politician talking about drilling more American oil already knows this.  Sarah Palin...doubtful.  I say that simply because it's impossible for me to fathom a world where she's smarter than me.  About anything except field dressing a moose.

And because you now know that they know and are selling you a line of bullshit...well, what does that mean to you?  Barack Obama is selling you bullshit.  You can want to believe he plays it straight with you as badly as I do - and I do - but the truth is he's snaking you as bad as any Republican.

Rachel Maddow is right.  It's time to change the conversation about "energy independence", because it will never ever ever ever come from oil.  It is impossible to drill more here so we don't get it from there, because everyone in every country gets it from the same international market.  The only thing drilling here does is make American oil folk richer.  And I think we've just struck incentive for a giant, pervasive, decades-old lie.

Walking on Sunshine

Continuing the trend of good environmental news stories today, here's one about an invention from the UK.  24-year-old Laurence Kemball-Cook has created Pavegen, a walking surface that gathers some of the kinetic energy released by a person's footsteps and transfers it to a battery to be used for attached lighting.

Now, I know you may be thinking, "So what?" or "big deal".  If so, I would ask you to imagine all the other applications and what-ifs.  For instance, what if this technology were employed on a large scale - say the entire network of New York City sidewalks?  And instead of storing the energy hyper-locally, what if it were harvested through a network and added to the entire energy grid, thereby reducing need for other energy sources in blanket fashion?  What if stadiums used it on their walkways, stairs, and even in seated areas.  Stadium lights could actually flash noticeably brighter with every "We will rock you" boom-boom-clap.

Or what-if the floor of every new house built in the world sent this energy to a power station in the home?

Leave it to the young to save our collective global ass.  God bless 'em.  Unfortunately, innovation and ingenuity of this sort is at best not encouraged and at worst flat-out discouraged in the United States, where it used to be our proudest export.  Unless we can match and surpass the world-changing thinking of other industrialized countries, we will continue our descent into obsolescence.  And maybe that's best for the world since the only exports we're known for lately are war machinery and counterproductive fear-based isolationism. 

Here's the biggest what-if:  What if instead of throwing untold trillion$ at private (read corporate) defense contractors in the military-industrial complex to find a better way to kill the brown people of the planet, we divert ALL the money to enhancing and perfecting technologies like this one to harvest as much energy as possible from 100% clean sources? 

If we can imagine it, we can do it.

Fossil Fuel SHUTDOWN (Awesome News!)

It's so nice to get positive news these days (Thanks to Ode Magazine!)

According to Bruce Nilles with Alternet.org, there are 2 great stories happening in the northeastern part of the U.S. 

First of all, the state of Michigan has DENIED the request for a permit for a coal-powered plant by Wolverine.  Is it fitting to anyone else that an energy company is named after a predator/scavenger?  Anyway, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Environment said "alternative methods are available that would supply the customers of the four electric cooperatives that make up Wolverine with electricity at a much cheaper rate than the cost of building a new coal plant."

Government oversight protecting people, 1.  Greedy corporation only concerned about bottom line, 0. 

Secondly - and this one is BIG, people - ALL COAL PLANTS IN THE STATE OF OHIO WILL BE SHUT DOWN BY 2012!!!

Let me say it again:
ALL COAL PLANTS IN THE STATE OF OHIO WILL BE SHUT DOWN BY 2012!!!

That's 1 state out of 50.  That's 11.5 million people who will get 100% of their energy from sources other than coal!  And hey, progress out of any state that's not California is newsworthy.  And if one middle-American state can do it, so can another.  I'd like to add that Kansas keeps shutting down Sunflower's requests for permits to build coal power plants. 

Perhaps there's hope for humanity afterall.
